Aliens in the Scripture

Is it possible that extraterrestrials have been involved with human history since the beginning? Could the ancient accounts in the bible be characterizing UFOs?

For example, in 2 Kings we have the description of spinning chariots of fire that take Elijah into the sky. This sounds as if it could very well be a description of alien encounters during biblical days. When you read 2 Kings 2:11, it does sound like an alien abduction by a “chariot of fire.”

“And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. 12 And Elisha saw it, and he cried my father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more.”

There are many that speculate that the accounts in the bible describing mysterious intervention are actually accounts of UFO sightings. According to the biblical account of the Exodus found in 2 Kings 2:11, a “pillar of cloud” leads Moses as well as his people through the desert during the day, and a “pillar of fire” gave them light during the night. Many have speculated that this was an alien encounter recorded in the bible. A sizable UFO could have provided the light stated in the scripture as well as the accounts of floating for prolonged periods of time.

Some have speculated that it was UFO ships that parted the Red Sea by using their spacecraft engines or some sort of anti-gravitational force to part the water as stated in Exodus 14:26. Thousands of years after the Exodus we have the story of the transfiguration in the New Testament that many claim is an account of UFO’s in the bible. Elijah could have been returning in the same alien UFO that had taken him away as written in the Old Testament.

Testimony of UFOs and aliens are not only found in the bible, but in just about every mythology on earth. There are also things such as the ancient Nazca Lines located in the Nazca Desert in southern Peru. Many Ufologists feel these lines to be some sort of landing strips for alien spaceships.

The mystery of UFO’s in the Scripture will always remain. The expression used by these ancient people to characterize what they saw in the sky could very well be narratives of alien spacecraft. What was the wheel within a wheel that descended upon Ezekiel? Where exactly did the fire and brimstone come from that destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah? What could it have been that leads Moses through the desert? Are all these stories of bizarre forces in the sky found within the sacred writings stories of a deity, or of UFO invaders from other planets For now these questions will remain a secret.
