    I love that Krist plays accordion on this song. Their next album would probably have been in the same vein as this show and would have been their best to date. Hauntingly melodic beauty and ugliness. Man, I wish Kurt could have stuck around for just a little while longer…

    Insular habits of institutions and people can be funny things, as if even the slightest deviation from a long standing habit threatens the fabric of the ego, and the church wonders why it is becoming more and more unpopular, as if it is so hard to be open to varying forms of society, culture and creative expression. Sounds like you need a new church which is a little less rigid.

    If your kid were disruptive in class, I’m sure they’d get annoyed too, and nobody would blame the teacher for getting annoyed. Singing during a sermon is fucking disrespectful. It doesn’t matter if he’s belting out “Lake of Fire” or “On Eagles Wings,” and it doesn’t matter that it’s a religious discourse. It’s flat-out rude.
