YOU WROTE: “[A]nd if you’re going to quote Tupac, make sure you know the rest of the songs.”

Why does one need to know the rest of Tupac’s songs in order to submit a quote? Let us suppose that you and I are conversing in person. During this hypothetical discussion, I remark, “I hate paying taxes.” Would you need to know everything about my life or stance on paying taxes in order to know that I indeed made the statement, “I hate paying taxes”?

This isn’t real, the domain was purchased last month but the website says the church closed its doors in 2004. This must be some kind of Tim & Eric viral video.

No, but when you quote Tupac as a source for the word “Nigga” you’re obviously referring to the word from his context. So I assume he is talking about “Strictly 4 my niggaz” in which he references a lifestyle not a race, as he often did. Not all blacks live the same way mind you. So let’s say we are still in the same conversation and I say ” It really irks me when people use the N- word” would you not assume I meant all variations or just a certain spelling?

@Lauren Perry or you could just narrow it down to christianity. Since y’know…why not?

  24. TheSocialGadfly on February 12, 2013 at 12:16 am

YOU WROTE: “[O]h [sic] and btw [sic] genius, there is no “h” at the end of it.”

You are correct. There is no “h” at the end of the orthographic word “nigga.” There is, however, an “h” at the end of the word “niggah,” which is commonly used as an alternative spelling of the same linguistic expression “nigga.” Your line of reasoning is about as productive as arguing about the spelling of “grey/gray.”
