Love this song, it sounds like a prayer. A man wondering how and why Jesus turned his cheek for us? I mean even the best of us are poor wretched souls. And to people who think this song is heresy is crazy. There is no way to read the bible and not see Jesus drank. Think about who Jesus hung out with while He was here, he hung out with the “worst” people of the time. Jesus loves is and is willing to meet us where we are in life, we don’t have to reach a certain level of perfection.
