In response to Kamal Saleh’s video found here: www.youtube.com James White of Alpha and Omega Ministries (www.aomin.org) teamed up with Ivey Conerly ( www.ivhisson.com ) to produce a Christian response. Our hope and prayer is that the message of the Gospel will be clearly presented to all who watch this video, but especially to Muslims who are led to listen and consider our words. A written response to Kamal’s video can be found here: www.aomin.org A 52 minute video response, point by point, can be found here: t.co My sincere thanks to Ivey and Marcus for their great work. Soli Deo Gloria! The voice Moses heard from the burning tree said, “Moses, I am Allah…” (28:30).
Tafsir Al-Jalalayn
the tree was a jujube, a bramble, or a boxthorn — [saying] that (an here is explicative, and not in its softened form) ‘O Moses! Indeed I am God, the Lord of the Worlds’.
So was your Allah a tree, or Allah? You can say Allah isnt a tree, but them your contradicting the Quran.
If you want a nice detailed explanation of Jesus taking on flesh and coming under the Law and atoning for humanities sins, I will quote you Philippians 2:5, as it explains it perfectly:
Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men.
Being found in appearance as a man,
He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name,so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
If you have any questions remaining please ask and I will answer them for you in detail. Cheers
lol allah = a lie hahaha nice!
@uarsalan ‘Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.’
what it does say that God is the all seeing. meaning HE knows the past the present and the future. but then there is free will too. i mean certain things you have no control over such as life and death. well the Quran we have now is the way it will be forever, and the way it suppose to be. it is Gods word just like what Jesus spoke. its like there was the torah. then bible. now quran. read this verse 2:106
Rejecting a dumb and dangerous religion for one that’s simply dumb?
Cool, I guess. Baby steps, man. Baby steps.
There is no free will in Islamic doctrine! Where did you get your information from?
Quran No soul can believe, except by the will of Allah, and He will place doubt (or obscurity) on those who will not understand (10:100)
…and Allah sendeth him astray purposely, and sealeth up his hearing and his heart, and setteth on his sight a covering? Then who will lead him after Allah (hath condemned him)? Will ye not then heed? (45:23)
Quran And if Allah please He would certainly make you a single nation, but He causes to err whom He pleases and guides whom He pleases; and most certainly you will be questioned as to what you did (16:93)
See thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? (19:83)
As to those who do not believe in the hereafter, We have surely made their deeds fair-seeming to them, but they blindly wander on. (27:4)
@uarsalan Did you catch that? Coming down out of heaven to the new earth. Some people may worship images of christ but thats not true christianity, worshiping the person of christ is. No one has ever seen God without human form that is true, but he has revealed himself in human form.
shows you know so much about em, btw its Jesus in the end who saves you not religion would you like to learn more or was your post just emotional anger?
ok, but I am asking was the Quran in heaven before Muhaamad spoke it, is it eternal forever, not created, has no beginning. Or is it created?
Well yeah i did say that and i said it to you again. what part do you not get? To be a man is opposite of being God. God is unlimited. Man is limited. God cant die! the moment you kill a God then that was not God. Humans have souls lol. Man has soul. i am lost for words what to say to you. /facepalm
OMG you dont even understand what you are saying. You are saying that God cannot enter his creation. Man cannot enter something else. But God can, And if you say that God cannot enter his creation then you are saying God has limitations? OMG are you really this dumb?
GOD DID NOT DIE. THE FLESH DIED. JUST LIKE WHEN MAN DIES THE SOUL LIVES ON. WHEN JESUS’S FLESH DIED GOD DID NOT DIE WITH THE FLESH.
AMAZING! LOl face-palm, your to dumb to know how stupid you are!
Oh the ignorance. This is so common from Muslims who have no clue about Christianity and make such a big fool of themselves when talking to Christians – just like Muhammad who thought Mary was part of the Trinity lol!
Jesus did not ‘die’ in the way you think He did. He only sacrificed the human body He took on when He became flesh as an atonement for the sake of humanity. His divine eternal nature meanwhile was never born and never died – only His human nature when He took on flesh.
Thank you for creating the Christian reply! Kamal was weak in so many points!
you clearly havent read the quran. read 18:29. also there is no compulsion in religion. read the verse before it 10:99 “And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed – all of them entirely. Then, [O Muhammad], would you compel the people in order that they become believers?” and 45:23 read it with sense. those who chose to take other gods they have gone astray, they have no one other than God to guide
if this almighty God was powerful enough to create Adam out of nothing, why did He require human flesh to put His divine self into? surely He could have just created other human to possess
That does not contradict what I posted, And the verse about compulsion was abrogated. That was an early Meccan ayat when Mohamed had little power. It was later abrogated. Suras 9 and 5 were the last revealed. And I know more about Islam than any Muslim I have ever spoken to! And you used 10:99 and that confirms what i said. That if Allah willed he would. But he causes people to err and leads people whom he chooses! You are not bright. And this conversation is going nowhere!
@uarsalan Let me give you an illustration that may help with understanding the incarnation. Take the two categories of father and son. Their both two completely different things right? But one man can be a father and a son at the same time right? In the same way Jesus is God and man at the same time. One person with two natures. There is nothing contradictory about that.
Because this has been prophecized from the very start – to the prophets of the Old Testament.
Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
so jesus had no soul then? and for the last time. GOD MAN is an oxymoron, moron! you are saying to contradictory statements. Now God is all powerful. Man is powerless. some other guy said when god became jesus god took away jesus’ powers or something like that. meaning jesus was powerless. now to be the all powerfull and be powerless is not the same. i got a application to fill. will get back to your posts later. too many to reply to. and thanks for keeping this clean. kudos
no He gave them free will. it God did not give free will then we would not be having the conversations. its like you have options to revise for the exam or not. the examiner is not forcing any decision on you. but if you choose not you and do bad then the examiner has no choice but to fail you. its test. we are all given choices. if we make our choices then our destinations are chosen based on that. and LOL i am finding your logic amusing. one day you may understand. eventually
The fact that you did not see the verses that contradicts in the Bible you seem that you ignored them and you chose the verses that desired you
dont get me wrong but we re not stupid we know what happen to the Bible
we believe in the Bible as one of the books of God but not the Bible of today
and we dont say the Bible is a lie we say the Bible was modified
This black man is stupid enough not to realize that if Jesus is God then Jesus doesn’t like him because God didn’t choose his color to incarnate. Yes, If Jesus is God then he is racist because God chose a white body to incarnate instead of black. Whereas, Allah sent all his prophets in all colors, all nations, all tribes. There are about 127000 prophets had gone in this world and Jesus (a.s.) was one of them. Peace
